About us

eCamps British Virgin Islands was established in 2012 in order to facilitate global experiential learning for young people ages 9-17. While separate initially, we transitioned to co-ed in 2013. The aim is to develop global citizens, equipped with 21st century life skills. We seek to help them learn more about their immediate surroundings, as well as to develop a greater appreciation for the substantive issues of the wider world. Our focus is to build character, confidence and to assist in the development of leadership skills.

A large part of eCamps is travel, as we believe there is no greater form of learning than through direct interaction in other countries. Our programs are devised to incorporate learning and entertainment and exposure to the cultures of the countries that we visit. Seeing other people in their respective environments, sharing in their food, performing arts, museums and most importantly their education.

To date, we have travelled the British Virgin Islands, and externally to England and France, Spain, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.

Beginning in September, 2015, we will introduce our Kidpreneur program, which will introduce our campers to all of the concepts of starting and running a business. We will also introduce them to successful kidpreneurs from right here in the region, and the United States.

While our local programs are open to children ages 9-17, our travel abroad programs are open only to 12-17 year olds. Travel abroad programs are limited to 30 children and 6 chaperones. eCamps British Virgin Islands is open to children of all nationalities.
